The Meteorology section within the Institute of Geosciences is searching for a Research Associate (75%) within the field of Satellite Data Assimilation. The project is funded for 36 months  within the extramural research program of the German weather service DWD, with a possible extension of 12 months (100% PostDoc). The results will contribute to the exploitation of modern,  highly resolved Satellite images for the initialization of weather forecasts at DWD.
