Climate kit

We would be happy to come to your school and present the climate case on site. Many things are possible, from school visits as part of lessons to helping to organize a project day. There is also the option of borrowing the climate suitcase and experimenting with the pupils yourself. Simply get in touch with the contact below with your wishes and we will see together what can be implemented.

Visit at the institute

Visit us with a school group or working group at the meteorology building of the University of Bonn. Guided tours of all the measuring instruments on the roof, in the basement and in the institute's garden are possible. Lectures by scientists on their current research or selected topics such as “From measurement to weather forecasting” are also possible depending on the capacity of our colleagues.

What is the LMU climate kit?

What is the LMU climate kit?

The climate kit was developed by the LMU Munich and contains experiments and explanations on the topic of climate change. Together with UPAS, we go to schools around Bonn and present experiments from the climate kit, other experiments that show meteorological phenomena or give small theoretical but interactive lectures on various topics related to meteorology. It is a suitcase full of experiments and explanations on the subject of climate change.
