A degree in geosciences?
Yes, but which one(s)?
Earth sciences combine disciplines that deal with the research and teaching of the Earth system in the past and present and related processes. Within the Earth Sciences, the Institute of Geosciences covers the research areas of geology, geochemistry/petrology, geophysics, meteorology/climate, and paleontology of animals and plants.
Thus, the choice of research areas is wide. A geoscience degree offers a broad spectrum of theoretical and practical disciplines to guide university research and teaching.
At the Institute of Geosciences of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, 2 Bachelor, 4 Master programs and one international Double Degree Program are offered in 2 teaching units.
Teaching unit Geosciences
