Geofantasy
The geosciences deal with the research and teaching of the static structure of the earth as well as the dynamic processes within this system.
The geofantasy as a subarea of the geosciences highlights the findings that are the subject of research discussion on the basis of geoscientific research and teaching and their disciplines.
Classic examples of geofantasy are the findings of non-invasive investigations based on geoscientific outcrops and (geo-)physical measurement methods, whose validity is insufficient for reliable results due to poor and insufficient data, lack of sensitivity and under- or over-interpretation.
